Aigir rocks

Aigir rocks are located on the northern slope of Mount Karatash. They are named after the Bashkir village and the railway station nearby. The Bashkirs call the northern slope of the Karatash ridge The Teeth of Shurale because they are decorated with beautiful rocks. The sheer cliffs are 50 m high, and from their peaks opens a magnificent view of the neighbouring mountains and Yamantau, the highest point in the Southern Urals. From there you may also enjoy a view of the valley of the Maly Inzer River, which forms its rapids in this place.

This location is very popular with tourists. In winter and summer, hundreds of hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts go conquer these beautiful rocks.
