This is a steeply sloping area of coniferous and broad-leaf forest of spruce, pine, lime, and birch. Semiozerskyi les is the area of natural beauty where rare plants of the orchid family, as well as other types of plant registered in the Red Book, are to be found.
In 1986, a pristine natural jewel, the Semyozerskyi les spanning nearly 200 hectares, was officially designated a natural monument. Located to the north of the village of Semyozerka, this area stands as a testament to the district’s commitment to preserving its ecological treasures.
