Museum of Tufan Minnullin

Location: K. Marx Str., bld. 106b, Kamskoye Ustye, Kamsko-Ustyinsky district, Museum of Tufan Minnullin

The museum was founded in 2010. It was decided to create a museum in the regional centre. The design of the building itself and outbuildings were agreed upon with Tufan Minnullin. He was lucky to have an opportunity to see the building of the future museum during his lifetime. It was planned that the exposition would be located on the first floor, and on the second floor, during his visits to the district, the playwright would live, and receive guests.

Tufan Minnullin himself took an active part in acquiring the funds for the future museum. He donated some of his personal belongings, a collection of photos, stationery, letters, and his portraits.

The exposition is located on two floors. On the first floor of the museum, various documents of official and personal (family) origin, and manuscripts of creative heritage are presented; clothing sources, include pieces of furniture, table decorations, household and decorative items, and various accessories. On the second floor of the museum in the first room, there are pages of biography: photographs, photocopies. In the second room, there is the personal library of the writer, also the room is a literary salon.

In autumn 2012, apple, cherry, plum, and pear trees were planted on the territory of the museum. Today, visitors have the opportunity to treat themselves to the harvest of this garden.
