The museum is an affiliate of the Tatarstan National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Established as a community school museum in 1977. Since 1983 it was incorporated into the Republican National Museum as an affiliate. In 1991, the exhibition “Family Album Pages” was opened in the reconstructed wing of the Boratynskys’ estate on Gorky Street. The exhibition is based on the genuine items of that time. There is also a small collection of Boratynskyi’s memorabilia exposed at the museum.
