Shyvy Yavy – Awakening of springs. This jolly festival takes place where a spring falls into the river Irsubai. Lads and girls throw a silver coin into the waters of the spring. The girls fill a bucket with water and the boys put it on a table and throw rings into it. To the words of a ritual song, the rings are taken out one by one and, in accordance with popular belief, the future fate of its owner is determined. The girls, with their heads, adorned with wreaths of flowers from the fields, listening to the words of another song: let not the sad fate of Naspi befalls these beauties.
